            OUR MISSION STATEMENT
  "To relieve the suffering and abuse of all animals and foster an awareness of their importance in our lives through leadership in compassionate care and placement, public education, and humane services."

SPOKANE HUMANE SOCIETY CREDO:   
1.  We will NEVER turn any animal away from our shelter.
2.  We will strive for 100% sterilization of all animals which leave our
    shelter, and by example and education, home fro the same with
    all others.
3.  We will work with other agencies to prevent cruelty to animals,
    and will ALWAYS respond to the needs of any animals in cruelty
    cases.
4.  We will, through our Compassion Fund, help as many animals as
    possible which are injured and suffering.
5.  We will NEVER loose our identity through merger or sale.
